New Castle Middle School Athletics

The cross country finished out their season in Pendleton on Wednesday in a stacked field. Lane Marcum lead the Trojan boys with an 8th place finish. Jayvyn Hanson and Danny Hurst finished their seasons with very strong times after a busy schedule. Leading the lady Trojans Annabelle Davis earned 15th place finish with her strong performance. Finishing out their seasons with great runs were Brooke Overton, Emma Hardwick and Kynleigh Murray. The season isn't completely over for Lane Marcum, Maria Morrison and Annabelle Davis who have qualified for the Middle School State meet on Saturday at the Laverne Gibson Championship course near Terre Haute. Wish them luck at the big meet!
