New Castle Middle School Athletics

The cross country team traveled to Randolph Southern for a bit meet Saturday. Lane Marcum led the Trojans with another personal best and a 3rd place finish in the field of over 200 runners. Jayvin Hanson dropped his personal best by nearly a minute and Danny Hurst ran a strong race in the crowded field. Maria Morrison led the ladies squad with a 10th place finish out of over 150 runners. Annabelle Davis was in the top 13 with a 15th place finish. Ari Amman ran a season best with Emma Hardwick and Brooke Overton running strong races in the heat.
