New Castle Middle School Athletics

The cross country team traveled to Mt. Vernon middle school Thursday in a 3 way meet with host Mt. Vernon and Pendleton Heights. For the Boys Lane Marcum led the charge with another top 5 finish in a big field. Jayvyn Hanson had a great first race for the team with Danny Hurst running strong with a massive personal best time. For the girls Maria Morrison and Annabelle Davis pushed each other to top 5 finishes. Ari Amman had a strong race along with Kynleigh Murray and Brooke Overton representing the Trojan XC squad.
