NCMS 8th grade Lady Trojans leave Pasman as winners! The 8th grade Lady Trojans have had a great season and continued that last night, winning their final home game against Greenfield Central in dominate fashion by a final score of 36-8. Just a year ago, the Lady Trojans lost to the same Greenfield Central team. The Lady Trojans weren't going to let the Cougars spoil 8th grade recognition night. The game started in typical HHC fashion with tough, hard nosed defense by both teams leading to slow offensive starts. But it didn't last long for the Lady Trojans. They were able to get things going after settling in by breaking the Cougars press down through ball movement and knocking down shots! The Lady Trojans had great contributions from everyone throughout the game. There were a few constants throughout the game. "The Cousin Connection" of Addi Lee and Kenlee Briscoe were making shots, rebounding, and playing great defense. Natalie Estelle navigated the floor as she does dealing dimes to her teammates Lyrric Hazelman and Aubrey Armstrong. 7th graders, Natalie Estelle and Lyrric Hazelman, have had a tremendous impact this season and helped this team grow. The Lady Trojans get the band back together one last time for a tournament in Rushville this Saturday! Scoring for the Lady Trojans: Addison Lee - 11 Kenlee Briscoe - 9 Lyrric Hazelman - 9 Aubrey Armstrong - 5 Natalie Estelle - 2 The 8th grade Lady Trojans move to 14-3 on the season, finishing conference play with a 6-1 record. This group has put together one of the best finishes in conference play since New Castle joined the HHC!
