The Lady Trojans went on the road for a rematch against Richmond who gave them their season opening loss. Tonight the Lady Trojans were able to avenge their loss and come out victorious by a score of 32-23 in an awesome environment with a packed gym. In the season opener, Richmond's dynamic duo was able to account for 32 points against the Lady Trojans. In the game tonight, they were held to just 14 points, 6 of which came from the free throw line. It was a great defensive effort by Lyrric Hazelman and the rest of the stout Lady Trojan defense. Addi Lee and Aubrey Armstrong jump started the Lady Trojans early as they led the way in scoring. Natalie Estelle was able to create a lot of scoring opportunities through surveying the court very well and connecting with open teammates allowing them to score. In the second half, the Lady Trojans played through their big, Kenlee Briscoe. She began to go to work and with the help of Estelle, both were able to secure the ball late giving the Lady Trojans another impressive win. Scoring for the Lady Trojans: Aubrey Armstrong - 11 Addison Lee - 10 Natalie Estelle - 6 Kenlee Briscoe - 5 The Lady Trojans move to 13-3 on the season (5-1 in conference play). They are back in action next Thursday, March 6th, in what will be their final home game of the season vs. Greenfield Central.
