New Castle Middle School Athletics

The 8th grade Lady Trojans were on the road tonight in a bounce back game against Pendleton Heights for their regular season matchup after falling to the Arabians by 3 in last weeks HHC play in game. The Lady Trojans came out victorious 37-32! After making some adjustments against the tough Lady Arabians and their phenom, who scored 32 in the last matchup. The Lady Trojans excelled in their execution, tenacity, and effort from start to finish and made things much tougher this time for the Lady Arabians, making it clear they wouldn't be denied a win this time. Kenlee Briscoe found herself on the wrong side of the whistle early leading to limited minutes, but not to fear because her teammates were ready to fill the void as they held the line and kept the game within striking distance! The second half was big play after big play for all the Lady Trojans as they were able to regain the lead in the 4th quarter and held on to secure the victory!
