New Castle Middle School Athletics

Playing against an elite Delta tennis program, the NCMS boys' varsity tennis team fell 0-5. Kade Siewert played some great tennis, both physically and mentally. Though he ultimately lost 1-4, 0-4, the score didn't show the great play. The JV team couldn't close the match, losing 2-3. Ezra Schacht won at two singles (6-3), and Hunter Ellison defeated his opponent at three singles (6-4). Both played extremely well and battled to win their matches. The doubles team of Daniel Li and Nolan Riggs started their match off strong, going up 3-0. But their Delta foes ramped up their play to come back and win 6-3.
