New Castle Middle School Athletics

The New Castle Trojans fell to Pendleton Heights 0-5. Eighth-grader Scott Gilman took Nolan Dujmovich to three sets, but just couldn't close out the third set super tiebreaker (2-4, 4-2, [5-10]). The JV Netters lost to the Arabians 1-4, with seventh-grader Ezra Schacht being the lone victory against Owen McAlister 8-5. In exhibition play, the doubles team of eighth-grader Bryce Bloom and sixth-grader Korbyn Guffey defeated Adam Wandel and Eli Grimes 6-1.
