Eighth-grader Scott Gilman played his best match of the season in his victory over Rushville eighth-grader Kaceik Lunsford (8-6). Gilman was the Trojan's lone point as they fell to the Lions 1-4. The JV Netters netted a win at Rushville, 3-2. Seventh-grader Ezra Schacht played calm, confident tennis and held on to win 8-5 over eighth-grader Michael Tanner. The eighth-grade doubles team of Henry Lansinger and Sullivan Row handily defeated the doubles team of eighth-grader Lucas Romans and seventh-grader Jack Morgan 8-1. And sixth-grader Gavin Brown and seventh-grader Kooper Neal played their best tennis to defeat seventh-graders Maddox Hoover and Bentley Aulby 8-1. In exhibition play, eighth-grader Bryce Bloom defeated seventh-grader Corbyn Lakia (8-4).
